KELSEY BURNETTE, MA PBA
Owner, Director of Clinical Services, Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Kelsey has been working in the field of ABA since 2012. In 2013, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in psychology from the Honor's Program at the College of Charleston, where she wrote her thesis in behavioral economics with Dr. Chad Galuska as her supervisor. Upon receiving her initial training in ABA in the United States under Dr. Shannon Doughty's guidance, she realized how passionate she was about this type of therapy. After working with the Early Autism Project, she decided to pursue her master's in professional behavior analysis from the Florida Institute of Technology, one of the world's leading universities in behavior analysis, and she finally became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2019. After moving to the Netherlands, Kelsey worked for the non-profit foundation Stichting REACH Holland before deciding to focus on developing and expanding Milestones. She has since had the privilege of hosting guest lectures at Leiden University, and has connected with many inspiring professionals in a variety of mental health fields.

MEGAN VAN TIENHOVEN, MA
Supervisor, Applied Behavior Analysis Technician
Megan is originally from California. She has been working in the field of ABA with children on the autism spectrum since 2019 and got her RBT certificate in April 2021. In the summer of 2019 Megan received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of California Riverside. She earned her Master's Degree in applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University in the summer of 2023. When not studying or working with clients on the spectrum Megan enjoys playing piano, painting, traveling, and hiking. She is fluent in English and is currently learning the Dutch language to increase her ability to help more clients.

Stefan de Graaf, BSW
Supervisor, International Behavior Analyst,
Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst
Stefan has been working in the field of ABA since 2012, after he graduated in 2011 with a degree in social work from Hogeschool Rotterdam. Stefan is native Dutch speaking and has worked in different groups with children who had severe behavior problems and developmental delays. Stefan started his own company in 2015 and followed online ABA coursework through the Florida Institute of Technology starting in 2017 while being supervised online through CentralReach. He has been a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) since 2019. Since 2021 he is also registered as an International Behavior Analyst at the IBAO. Currently, Stefan is dedicated to making sure children receive appropriate and fitting budgets according to their needs, that ABA in general is advocated for at the government level, and he creates some individual learning programs as a supervisor. In his personal live, Stefan loves to play badminton, play the piano and spend time with his family.

LAL KOYUNCU, MSc
Psychotherapist, Behavior Technician
Lal Koyuncu is a child psychologist and behavior technician based in the Netherlands and Turkey. She got her BA from University of British Columbia where she worked as a research assistant in Dr. Janet Werker’s lab in infant language development. She then did her MSc in Child & Adolescent Psychology in Leiden University in the Netherlands, writing her thesis on the neuroplasticity in pregnancy. She has been working with children and adolescents on the spectrum since 2019. Currently she is training to become a pregnancy and birth psychologist.
ILARIA VERGARI, MSc
Psychotherapist, Behavior Technician
Ilaria received her bachelor's degree in psychology from the Università degli Studi di Perugia in 2015. She then went on to earn her master's in clinical neuropsychology from the Università degli Studi di Firenze in 2018. In 2021 she started working for Stichting REACH Holland, a non-profit foundation serving children with autism spectrum disorder, and in 2022 she joined the Milestones team. She is trained in informally (i.e. not currently BIG registered, a requirement for legal validity in Dutch healthcare) administering WISC-IV, WISC-V, and WAIS for older, verbal clients and is training for the WPPSI assessment for non-verbal clients. She also works as a psychology tutor for bachelor's students at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She is fluent in English and Italian.


LAURA MELISSE NAMER, MS
Child Psychologist, Behavior Technician
Laura is originally from France and Turkey. Laura obtained her bachelor's degree in Psychology from Bilkent University in 2015, where she worked as a research assistant and project coordinator in the Developmental Psychology Laboratory. She went on to receive training in experiential play therapy and child assessment, followed by a one-year internship at a child development center specializing in autism. After working several years with children on the spectrum and as a play therapist, Laura moved to the Netherlands in 2022 to pursue two master's degrees in Parenting and Child Development and in Child and Adolescent Psychology at Leiden University. She completed her clinical internship at Milestones Behavioral Techniques in 2024 and joined the team as a junior behavior technician. Laura is currently training to become a cognitive behavior therapist and is fluent in English, French, and Turkish.

VALENTINA SEMUCCI, MSc
Speech Therapist, Behavior Technician
Valentina is an Italian speech therapist with over 24 years of experience working with children and adolescents with complex neurodevelopmental disorders. She holds a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Sciences and has specialized expertise in autism, severe disabilities, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). For 14 years, she coordinated the pediatric rehabilitation unit in Italy, leading a multidisciplinary team supporting children with diverse needs. In addition to her clinical work, Valentina has contributed to research, training, and innovative projects to improve inclusion for children with autism. She published two books in AAC for children. She is a native Italian speaker and also communicates in English and Dutch.


RACHEL STANKEY, ODT
Occupational Therapist
Rachel Stankey is a US-licensed occupational therapist with 30 years of experience supporting children and families. Rachel graduated from the University of Washington in 1995 and went on to receive her doctorate in occupational therapy from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in 2011. Rachel has extensive clinical experience with children of all ages, from neonates to young adults transitioning out of the pediatric system. Rachel also spent several years working as clinical faculty/specialist in feeding, autism, and neurodevelopmental clinics, and as an assistant professor in entry level and post-professional occupational therapy graduate programs. Rachel has provided education and training to graduate and professional health and education providers as well as to community members. Rachel enjoys presenting at seminars on a variety of topics including, feeding and mealtimes, sensory processing, co-regulation, child development, and assistive technology. Although she has hospital and faculty experience, most of her career has been centered on working with children in their natural environments. Rachel is a strong advocate for children, families, and the rights of individuals with disabilities. and believes in providing neuroaffirming support. In her downtime, Rachel loves to travel, cook, read, hike, see live music, and spend time with her chocolate Labrador, Linus.
ZOE RAVINALE CAÑON, MSc
Registered Behavior Technician
Zoe Ravinale Cañón is originally from Barcelona, Spain. After completing high school in England, Zoe moved to the Netherlands in order to study a bachelor’s degree in psychology at Tilburg University. In September 2021 she graduated with a master’s degree in child and adolescent psychology from the University of Leiden. During that period, she worked as an intern in the European School of Den Haag. In addition, she completed a research internship focused on giftedness for Leiden University as well as partaking in the Master Honours Programme of the aforementioned institute. Zoe joined Milestones Behavioral Techniques in December 2021 where she began to work as a junior therapist. Zoe is fluent in Spanish, English, Catalan and is working towards a B1 level in Dutch.

CAROLIEN SOUVERIJN, MSc
Behavior Technician, Tutor
Carolien has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Leiden University and a master’s in child- and adolescent psychology from Utrecht University. She has experience working with young people in a wide variety of contexts, including summer camps. During and after her studies, she worked with children and adolescents on social, emotional, independence and academic goals, at clients’ homes and in schools. She proceeded to work with children on the spectrum, teaching them skills required for entering the Dutch public school system. For the last 6 years, Carolien has been working in an international school. She loves to learn by talking with people from (and experiencing parts of) different cultures. She is Dutch and fluent in English. Carolien loves to dance, play board games and spend time in nature and the sunshine.
NATUSHKA ISENIA, BSc
Behavior Technician
Natushka Isenia was born and raised in Curaçao. She received her bachelor's degree in psychology at Leiden University, where she is currently pursuing her master's degree in child and adolescent psychology. She has been working with children with autism spectrum disorder since 2022. She is passionate about promoting the well-being of children and adolescents and advancing social change, even in small, practical ways. When she's not working she enjoys spending her free time reading. She is fluent in Papiamentu and English, and has professional proficiency in Dutch and Spanish.
